Waiver & Boarding and Daycare Risks

"AGREEMENT & RISKS OF BOARDING/DAYCARE" WAIVER:

This agreement is entered into between PAWS & CLAWS CANINE COUNTRY CLUB (CCC) and the person(s) listed as DOG OWNER below. This agreement applies to all visits by your dog to CCC. SERVICES – CCC provides dog boarding and basic grooming services. Dog Owner hereby engages CCC to provide services as set forth on the website provided in connection to this Agreement by Canine Country Club. 

PAYMENT – Dog Owner agrees to pay for all boarding, grooming services, and any veterinary care deemed necessary by the staff of CCC upon pick up. We accept all major credit cards, checks and cash. There is a $50 returned check fee. 

CANCELLATIONS & DEPOSITS – There is a 48 hour cancellation policy. Failure to cancel 48 hours prior to the reservation date will result in a charge equivalent to one night’s boarding fees. A $75 non-refundable deposit, payable at the time of booking, is required during busy holiday seasons. 

HEALTH AND VACCINATIONS – Dog owner represents to CCC that, to your knowledge, your dog has not been exposed to any contagious diseases within a 30-day period prior to check in. CCC reserves the right to refuse to accept any dog at check in, for any reason, including but not limited to those dogs who appear sick, injured, in pain, or exhibiting any behavior that could jeopardize the safety of other dogs or our staff. Unspayed females in heat and dogs that are coughing, sneezing, vomiting or have diarrhea will not be accepted. 

VACCINATION or TITER RECORDS are required before admittance to CCC. Dog owner understands that all dogs at our facility are fully vaccinated or have provided proof of immunity. However, it is still possible for your pet to become ill, even if vaccinated or titered. Dog owner understands that this is not due to any circumstances or conditions at Canine Country Club and agrees to not hold CCC liable in the event your dog becomes ill during or after his/her stay. 

FLEA AND TICK REMOVAL – CCC strives to provide a flea and tick free environment. If at any time during your stay your pet is found to have fleas or ticks, you authorize CCC to provide appropriate removal treatment at your additional expense. 

EMERGENCY MEDICAL TREATMENT – In the unlikely event that your dog becomes sick or injured, or if your dog has a pre-existing condition that is aggravated by its stay and requires professional veterinary attention, we will attempt to notify you or your Emergency Contact at the phone numbers you provide. CCC, at its sole discretion, may engage the services of a 24-hour Emergency Veterinary Clinic or a Veterinarian of our choice and/or administer medicine or give necessary treatment to your dog, and you authorize us to do so at your expense. If we cannot reach you or your emergency contact, you authorize us to make healthcare decisions for your dog based on the recommendations of available professionals. 

LIABILITY RELEASE: 

   1) FOR INJURY - Every effort will be made to insure the safety of our guests, but in the unlikely event that your dog is injured by another dog, you release CCC from any liability for such injury. If your dog injures another dog, you will be solely responsible for any injury to the other dog as well as your own, and you release CCC from any liability for such injury. 

   2) FOR ILLNESS - We strive to maintain an exceptionally clean and well sanitized environment Owner understands special-needs dogs, young puppies, and senior dogs naturally have a higher risk of injury, stress-related illnesses, weakened immune system, or exacerbation of any pre-existing condition. As such, by using our facility for daycare or boarding, the Owner is waiving any claim for injury or illness experienced by Owner’s dog while in our care. 

   3) FOR ESCAPE FROM ENCLOSURE: Dogs are hand-walked and also allowed off-leash play time in our outdoor yards, either solo or in a group with your approval. Every effort is made to insure the security of the play yards and the perimeter of the property, but in the event that your dog escapes enclosure, or gets away from a handler while on a lead, owner agrees to release CCC for any accidental injury or death. If your dog is skittish, a flight risk, digs, climbs, or might otherwise attempt to escape enclosure, owner agrees to make CCC aware so that extra precautions may be taken. 

EMERGENCY OR NATURAL DISASTER – In the unlikely event of an emergency or natural disaster, every effort will be made to contact you or your emergency contact to retrieve your dog. You agree that CCC, at its sole discretion, is authorized to transport and/or make temporary arrangements to house and care for your dog until your dog can be picked up. You acknowledge it may not be possible to safely evacuate your dog and you will hold CCC harmless for any accidental injury or death. 

GROUP PLAY – All dogs undergo a period of evaluation and temperament testing during their stay. Dogs from the same family, as those that we determine to be compatible, will be allowed together in our indoor or outdoor turnout areas. IF YOU PREFER THAT YOUR DOG NOT BE ALLOWED TO PLAY WITH OTHER DOGS, PLEASE INFORM US UPON CHECK IN! DOG BEHAVIOR – We do not allow dogs who display aggression towards people or other dogs, or who might become territorial in a kennel environment. Dog owner agrees that if dog becomes aggressive, destructive or disruptive, or acts in any manner that puts CCC and our representatives or employees in any danger, we will attempt to notify you or your Emergency Contact to make other arrangements for your dog. In the event that neither are available, CCC, at its sole discretion, may make other arrangements at an alternative boarding facility of our choosing. You will be billed and responsible for any fees incurred at both CCC and the alternative boarding facility. Dog owner acknowledges that dogs that are kenneled together are from the same household and owner assumes all responsibility for any aggressive behavior, fighting or injury that one dog may inflict upon another. CCC reserves the right to separate any dogs who are boarded together at our discretion for their safety and you will be responsible for the cost of the additional kennel(s). 

PHOTO AND VIDEO RELEASE – Dog owner agrees to allow CCC and our representatives or employees to use his/her dog’s name and any images taken while the dog is boarded at CCC, in any form or format, for use at any time, in any media, marketing, advertising, illustration, trade or promotional materials without compensation. 

PERSONAL PROPERTY – Dog owner agrees that CCC will not be liable or responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged personal property. 

PROPERTY DAMAGE – All dogs are provided with a raised cot and blanket for their stay. You will be responsible for the cost to replace any CCC property that your dog damages or destroys. Cots $100. Door Flaps $40. Blankets $10. 

ABANDONMENT – Dog owner understands and agrees that if his or her dog is not picked up within 10 calendar days after the scheduled pick up date, or dog owner refuses to pay agreed upon charges, the dog shall be deemed to be abandoned and will become the property of CCC. By making a reservation at Canine Country Club, I acknowledge that I have read this Agreement and agree to its terms.  Signature:________________________________________ Date:______________________

Upon Arrival:

To best of my knowledge, this pet has no contagious diseases and is current with rabies, parvo, distemper, and bordetella vaccines. Canine County Club does its best to keep your pet clean during its stay. This includes disinfecting kennels daily. I grant permissions for Canine Country Club's employees to care for my pet in my absence. I understand that all reasonable measures shall be taken to prevent loss, injury or illness and accept all risks therein during its visit.
